Part of Waterman's response to Parker's Duofold competition. The 7 and 5 disrupted the standard numbering system. Later produced in black celluloid (1933).

Waterman’s large pen introduced in 1927 as part of the response to Parker’s Duofold. The Ripple series used a new ebony processing technique. Featured white bands on cap. Later versions produced in black celluloid.
