Golden Age
Filling System Lever filler
Nib Steel
Material Celluloid

Parker’s budget line during the Depression era — a simple lever-filler at an affordable price when money was tight.1

History

Introduced in 1932 as the Depression devastated pen sales, the Parkette gave Parker a presence in the low-price market.1 Available in celluloid with steel nibs, it was simple, reliable, and inexpensive.

Generations

The Parkette evolved through several designs: early rounded Junior models, later streamlined versions, and 1950s Writefine-branded variants.1 Third-generation models with black barrels are the most commonly found.
